AUTOMOTIVE INSURANCE ESTIMATOR

CARSTAR Shelburne is looking for a full-time Automotive Estimator with 1- 2 year(s) experience to work at our Shelburne/Mono location.  This position will report to the Production Manager this opportunity will offer the successful candidate the chance to be an integral part of our team.

Qualifications needed:

• Assessing vehicle damage and creating an initial repair order estimate;

• Maintaining regular contact with the appropriate insurance company to advise on vehicle repair status;

• Serving as the primary point of contact for customers during and after the repair by providing information, repair updates, and a high level of service throughout the process.

• Experience with Mitchell and/or Audatex estimating software; and

• Knowledge of Insurance “DRP” practices / guidelines.

• The Appraiser must be able to multitask within a team oriented body shop, and have superior customer service and organizational skills.
